I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. It was made into a TV movie back in the 70's, but they changed and cut out a lot of the story and the actress that played Maya Angelou was horrible. Esther Rolle as Maya's grandmother was the only good thing about it.

I know Eragon got a movie adaptation, but it deserves a better adaptation and the other books in the series deserve to be adapted faithfully. I found the books to be okay, but the movie version we ended up with was terrible and that's why the other books were never adapted into movies. The other books in The Chronicles Of Prydain series should get adapted too. Lastly, we have yet to get a good Lovecraft based movie other than the 40 minute black and white silent film.

I would like to see Charlaine Harris' Midnight Texas series be made into a TV series (on the regular channels). I would like "Cat Magic" by Jonathan Barry and Whitley Strieber made into a movie.

Either The War of Two or Burr. That fued and resulting duel and aftermath is deserving of a major motion picture.

The Alchemist was a great read. What am I missing?
The only poster who had his account banned 4 times without ever breaking any rules each of those times. -
