CS quite a good piece of political theory. paine used a whole bunch of different arguments and examples. i assigned this as a reading in american political thought class and then realized that the students were dumber than vienna sausages when they couldnt analyze Paine's arguments, as straightforward as those arguments are
Jefferson clearly read this and shamelessly plagiarized without attribution. i assume by then paine had decided to take ownership and stare down the wrath of George III
