You know, when I looked under my bed, I see my cat, Midnight under there, looking at me and then when I get back up, Midnight….is also there on the bed cover, sleeping and…..I only have one cat.
      😳

After skipping reading for a few days, I finially finished reading the novel and the ending was predictable, just like any horror movies/books.
        Basically,
everyone dies, especially Roberta who would eternally be possessed by the evil witch and the final survivor of the team dies by being sent to hell to watch his daughter die over and over again. That's the end. It's a ****ed up novel, but enjoyable, nevertheless. It's a tragic novel, though.

Sometimes, after reading many books, good guys winning all the time would be a bit cliché but in this book, bad guys win. So it's a welcoming change, I guess.
Also, the morale in this book is that if you become a paranormal researcher or ghost catcher, expect some ghosts/demons who will drag you to hell. It's funny that in many other ghost novels, there would be some exorcists who will save everyone or some people or any time before something bad happen, but the difference in this book is
that all the victims are killed and one is possessed without getting exorcised.
            Tragic.

You ever read anything by Richard Laymon?

I liked The Travelling Vampire Show and In the Dark but everything I've read of his was enjoyable.

just remember to put the covers on tight because the hand that comes from under the bed is reaching for you….

No, no. That one is gay. We ****ed under the bed every night. My roommate mentioned she heard bed was shaking almost every night and she didn't see any guys going into my room. Well……
I'm going to have tell her one day.
Of course, sometimes the hand reaches under the cover just to give me a handjob in my sleep.

                            I'd say it should be.
