It is just changing with the times. If these same options were available to previous generations, I'm sure they would have opted for them as well. The cost of going out can't beat the cost of delivery. It is cheaper and more convenient.

I'm a baby boomer. I have seen enough episodes of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares though, to know that I prefer staying in and making my own food. At least I know my kitchen is clean and my food is stored and prepared properly and to my liking.

Oh, I agree on the prices too! You can buy several days worth of grocerys for what you pay for a meal for two in a restaurant these days.
