It is just changing with the times. If these same options were available to previous generations, I'm sure they would have opted for them as well. The cost of going out can't beat the cost of delivery. It is cheaper and more convenient.

Dining out isn't for the food, idiot, it's for the experience.
I'm guessing you've never eaten anything at a restaurant before unless it was served to you on a tray.

I'm a baby boomer. I have seen enough episodes of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares though, to know that I prefer staying in and making my own food. At least I know my kitchen is clean and my food is stored and prepared properly and to my liking.
        Lighten up on the millenials.

Nah. I always knew that you are a little bit younger. You are in your 40s, right?

Then you are roughly my son's age. He and I get along quite well now that he is older. Perhaps there is still a chance for that click.

Oh, I agree on the prices too! You can buy several days worth of grocerys for what you pay for a meal for two in a restaurant these days.
MovieChatLegend said that it isn't for the food. It's for the experience.Sorry. I'll forgo the experience and save my money. I can socialize in many other ways.
