If they work well for sound but not light, you could always try a sleep mask. They have a gajillion to choose from on Amazon. I bought a pair a couple months ago. I'd love to recommend them but I still haven't tried them. It just seemed like a grownup thing to do even though I could sleep on a beach in Miami at high noon.

The curtains that are blocking light and sound are
on sale for $19 bucks.
Those curtains my mother sold me for $300 are SHEER PANELS with a print on it that wasn't my style.
