It's good that you can prepare and cook your own meals. What if she got sick? Oh ..then you would order takeout. Yeah..why even cook for yourself when you can always pay someone else to cook for you. I always feel guilty relying on someone else to cook for me. But I suppose that's the difference between white folks and black folks.

Don't know which one I'd call my favorite, but I'm old-school, and, NGL, pots, pans, skillets… yeah, those be my go-to cooking implements for a lot of things I prepare. Also, huge honorable mention goes to my slow-cooker (or crock pot, if you will), as well as this big enameled cast iron pot with heavy lid that I use in the oven a lot.

It's a big plastic thing with shelves that you put food on and pour water in the bottom of to steam. My mom used to cook with one years ago. The food goes too mushy for my liking, but it's good to cook multiple things at once like veg.
