I only used to go there because it was cheap, quick, and not as unhealthy as McDonald's. It stopped being cheap, so why am I going to eat low quality food for the same price as a local restaurant or a better chain that is around the same price?
The same goes for most fast food. Used to be places you went to when you're out shopping or something and didn't want to spend as much on lunch. -

And it's all the same bread (With the exception of brown and white) with different crumbs put over it.
The whole system could be automated. Zero thought required, just take thing from one tub and put it into another. Make it look like a deli to the customer but it's far from one
