honestly you're not wrong at all. I'm not sure the the disconnect is. the breadstick is softer and lighter and less salty. something about it just isn't vibing with the melted cheese the way a hot pretzel does.
I suppose it could be because my mind was deadset on dipping it on marinara and maybe that influenced my disgust of how is tasted with cheese

i used to eat pizza at a place that served the breadsticks with a hot creamy parmigian dipping sauce. it was good but a more cheddary one i probably wouldn't have been as pleased withβ¦so i can see what youre saying.
