I really love a good waffle cooked just right. It's been awhile since the last time I had a Waffle House pecan waffleโฆ but love 'em.
They have to be cooked just right, thoughโฆ just to the point where they're just before being brown and "done." Medium, I guess.
And for me, just butter on 'emโฆ no syrup. With a glass of milk.

Toaster Waffles taste more delectable than Toaster Pancakes do, just as Pancakes taste better whisked out of the pan, hence the name of them, lol. Overall, Iโd take the malty, fibrous and flourish textures and flavors of Pancakes over the firmer and slightly blander tasting Waffles, especially with Powdered Sugar, Butter and Maple Syrup on top. It just seems unnatural on Waffles to me.
