It's raining here so the temp is staying up in the high 50's. Starting tomorrow night, the lows will be in the low to mid 20's which is really cold for my area of California. Snow is already falling in the mountains.

So cold the squirrels in the back yard are running around in fur coats!
It is 14F finally, but the WC is -8F. It is really so cold that the suet block I put out the birds is frozen solid.

It is actually only -15F here, I bet it's a lot warmer where you are Mr.Count?
Yeah, but you sure wouldn't know it from the way we behave down here in Dixie.
It was 41 degrees here today, but we've become so spoiled by warm weather that 41 is almost considered a deep freeze, lol!
And good grief don't let snoweven 1/2 inch has us scrammbling like its DefCon 4, lol!

it was so cold on Friday several towns cancelled school so the special little snowflakes wouldn't have to go outside and wait for a bus (i'm sure it was more to appease their helicopter parents)
when i was a kid they never cancelled school because of cold temps, only blizzards or ice storms
but of course on both thursday night and on friday morning i saw a couple of dumbass guys in just a sweatshirt and shorts, no hat, no gloves, i wanted to smack them both

Unbelievable.
Early yesterday morning, about 3am, the temperature was around 34 degrees. And today's high was 76 degrees!! Presently, I'm sitting here watching the Jets get trounced by the Dolphins
with the fan on!!

I saw where New Orleans was 79 today and my family in Shreveport are warm too.
Shall I send you some cold, Count? It's 36 right now with a low of 23 predicted for tonight. It isn't polar vortex temps but it's cold enough for you to turn off that fan.

It's "only" 60 here today but i'll take it over having to shovel snow like i did yesterday or freeze to death like i almost did thursday and friday.
Too bad it's raining or i'd be outside doing some yard clean up.
