A married couple (94 & 92) treat themselves to a Porsche for their 70th wedding anniversary.

Most people celebrate their wedding anniversary with a dinner or a family gathering, but Derek (92) and Audrey Evans (94) from Dorset in England decided to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary in an unforgettable way – by buying their first Porsche!
In the 1950s Mr. Evans learned to drive in England in his father's Ford Model 8. The young couple's first car was an Austin 7. Now, seven decades later, they picked up their new Porsche Macan in the colour
"Crayon"
at the Porsche Centre in Bournemouth.
"We love the feeling of power and comfort."
"I’ve always had an adventurous streak,"
the 92-year-old says and adds:
"We’re certainly not speeders, but we enjoy the feeling of power and comfort."
The Porsche was the perfect choice for the couple to celebrate their platinum wedding anniversary.
"A Porsche was always unique, reliable and unlike anything else for us. We’d wanted one for a long time and thought: Why not now?"

They already plan their next Trips
The couple has big plans for their Macan. Long drives and thousands of kilometers on the odometer lie ahead – and Derek already thinks about their next car. When asked about the secret to their long and happy marriage, Derek replies:
"Opposites attract. Audrey and I are different, but we share common interests. And there’s a lot of fun and laughter."
Derek Evans was a banker before retiring. Alongside his banking career, he championed the British paragliding scene, managed a world champion team and was even invited by Queen Elizabeth II. The couple remains active. Besides dancing together and driving their Porsche, their passion for adventure lives on. Their story shows that 70 years of love and a first Porsche are the perfect blend of wanderlust, joy and love – proof that dreams never expire.

Ravens anticipate Wolf Kill Sites across broad Scales
Many species make their living by scavenging from kills made by other species. Observational knowledge posits that they do this by following predators around. Lorretto et al. tested this assumption by tagging ravens, wolves and cougars in Yellowstone National Park. They found that the ravens weren’t following the predators; instead, they regularly returned to sites where they encountered wolf kills before, like bats returning to known fruiting trees at the right time. These results suggest that scavengers may also use spatial memory of ephemeral resources in their search for food.
