German Shepherd Dog "Adolf"
A German man who trained his German Shepherd to lift his right paw on the command
"Heil Hitler"
was sentenced to 5 months in prison for neo-Nazi activities.
Roland T., a former Nazi already well-known to the authorities in Berlin, taught his dog
"Adolf"
to perform a Hitler salute with his right paw on command. For days, for weeks, the pensioner must have trained the poor dog, who of course had no idea what kind of sign he was making by sitting up on his hind legs.
Roland T. — not exactly blessed with intellectual riches [
and most often drunk
] — even had the dog perform in the presence of a police officer. When he had the dog demonstrate this

, he was arrested.
In court, the repeat offender, who is known to the authorities, received no leniency.

A German woman (44) was found dead near the Italian city of Florence.
Her body was discovered Wednesday morning at the foot of an abandoned farmhouse in Scandicci.
The woman was decapitated and her body partially dismembered.
The Florence public prosecutor's office opened a murder investigation.
