These freaks always flip flop on coffee. They’ll say it’s healthy then it’s not.
Truth is it depends on person. Some people are able to process the histamines and cortisol coffee has better and thus get to benefit more from the minerals in it. By far the best benefit of coffee is it helps reinforce healthy habits in general I.e. makes you more apt to do things like work out.
                Stop.

God knows, but one thing I have noticed since I started drinking a lot of it daily is that my skin has become super dry. Probably dehydrates it a bit. I'm trying to get used to drinking it with raw honey as it is more beneficial than sugar, but I'm not really a fan 😝

Women who drink Coffee age better, says Study that took 30 years
It’s not a miracle, but researchers who tracked nearly 50,000 women for 30 years found clear benefits.
Those who drank caffeinated coffee were significantly more likely to age well, maintaining physical, mental and cognitive health into their seventies and beyond.
The effect was evident with 1 to 2.5 cups of caffeinated coffee per day. Tea and decaffeinated coffee didn't show the same benefits, and cola was strongly associated with a lower likelihood of healthy aging.
Coffee is more than just a morning pick-me-up. That's the conclusion reached by researchers at the renowned
Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health
. They analyzed data from around 50,000 women who provided health and nutrition information over a period of 30 years.
The analysis revealed that women who drank caffeinated coffee in midlife between the ages of 45 and 60 were more likely to age healthily. Healthy aging was defined as living to age 70 or beyond, free of eleven major chronic diseases, maintaining physical function, maintaining good mental health, and excluding cognitive impairment and memory problems.

Data from over 46,000 adults ☕ Why You should drink your Coffee black!
The morning cup of coffee is a regular ritual for many.
But one thing could determine whether it's good for your health or not.
Coffee is an essential part of everyday (working) life.
Consumption of black coffee or coffee with very few additives is associated with a significantly lower risk of death [
                            eternal life?
☺]. This is the conclusion of a cohort study published by scientists at Tufts University in Boston, USA. Consumption was associated with a 14% lower risk of all-cause mortality.
                            For the analysis, published in
                            The Journal of Nutrition
, data from over 46,000 adults in the USA were evaluated over a period of approximately ten years. The positive health effect disappeared as soon as larger amounts of sugar or saturated fat were added to the coffee.
What Low Sugar and Fat actually means
                            The study provides precise definitions.
                            "Low sugar"
was defined as less than 2.5 grams per 240-milliliter, which is about half a teaspoon. The limit for saturated fat was less than one gram, which can be exceeded with a large splash of whole milk or a small spoonful of cream.
Scientists attribute the health benefits of coffee primarily to its bioactive compounds, such as polyphenols. These have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Sugar and saturated fat, on the other hand, can promote inflammatory processes in the body and thus counteract the positive effects of coffee.
A spoonful of Sugar isn't the End of the World
Perhaps the interpretation doesn't have to be so strict. An earlier study published in the renowned
                            Annals of Internal Medicine
came to a similar, but slightly different conclusion. It also found a lower risk of death with moderate coffee consumption, although this also included people who sweetened their coffee with about a teaspoon of sugar.
This is consistent with the assessment of the German Nutrition Society (DGE). They also see coffee as part of a health-promoting diet, but warn especially against high-sugar coffee drinks, which quickly become a calorie trap. The recommendation is 3-4 cups per day, preferably without sugar.
Overall, when interpreting the results, it should be noted that both large studies are based on self-reported data from participants. This method can be prone to inaccuracies and memory errors, which represents a potential weakness of the data.
What this means for the Work Environment
Especially when working from home or on the way to work, many people reach for sugary or milky coffees. Switching to black coffee could not only promote health but also maintain stable concentration – without the sugar spikes that lead to decreased performance.
If that doesn't work for you: Keep your sugar intake below 2.5 grams per cup.
That's about half a teaspoon – a simple hack for better health without sacrificing taste.

Hmmm, let's take a closer look what they really say.
Too much sugar is unheathy. –> agreed.
Milkfat is unhealthy –> disagreed (milk-bashing in recent years, cause some people cannot digest milk well)
                            The study does
                            NOT
say that sugar and milk cancel out the benefits of coffee.
Since I don't stuff myself with chocolate, candy or soda-drinks and can tolerate up to two glasses of milk,
I'll continue drinking my coffee with milk and honey, ha!
                            Honey Milk Coffee
                            🐝🤍🤎
                            Guten Morgen!

                                Study: Morning Coffee improves Mood
A cup of coffee in the morning makes regular coffee drinkers happier, according to a study.
Those surveyed felt significantly happier and more enthusiastic than on other days when they didn't drink coffee or other caffeinated beverages at the same time.
As many coffee drinkers suspected: Coffee in the morning lifts the mood.
Scientists from Bielefeld University and the University of Warwick in the UK explain this effect that caffeine blocks adenosine receptors in the brain, making you feel more alert and energetic. At the same time, this can increase dopamine activity. Dopamine is known as the happiness hormone.
Perhaps it only alleviates withdrawal symptoms?
Caffeine consumption can lead to addiction. The scientists were unable to clarify whether the mood-enhancing effects in the morning are simply related to the reduction of withdrawal symptoms that may developed during the night.
For the study, 236 young adults who generally consume caffeine were surveyed over a period of up to four weeks. The participants answered a short questionnaire on their mobile phones seven times a day. They reported their current mood and whether consumed a caffeinated beverage in the previous 90 minutes.
The study was published in the journal
                                Scientific Reports
                                .

                                      Does Coffee Really Dehydrate You?
▪️Coffee has long been blamed for dehydration, but that idea is mostly a myth.
▪️Caffeine can make you pee more, but regular drinkers quickly build a tolerance.
▪️To be safe, stick to about 400 milligrams of caffeine daily — roughly two to three cups of coffee — and make sure you're hydrating properly.

Perhaps I should drink another coffee.
