If so, what happened?

It was from a sports-related injury. Thankfully, since concussions are mild traumatic brain injuries, I wasn’t unconscious for more than a few seconds.

I was about 14 and reading a medical book, as one does, and I came to a bit about vomiting blood. Woke up behind the sofa.
Next time I was outside and woke up with a head full of gravel and the third time at a friend's house for no apparent reason either.

You poor thing. And you're only little. I hope this was just an age thing as you were passing through those unpredictable teenage years.

No. I stepped up on the stoop when my ankle gave out and I fell backwards. I only remember the falling part and the waking up in a hospital bed part. Everything in the middle, including the ride to the hospital part, I have zero memory of, even to this day. I don't know who called the ambulance for me as I was home alone at the time, so I guess a neighbour saw me wipe out (thank goodness) and made a phone call. This was in 2012.
