I kind of agree with you even though I sometimes spoil my dog. The thing about it is that, once you share the bed, or sofa, or chair….your pet "claims" the object as its own.

Exactly! That's how I see it, too. They love with all they've got. They're in our lives for such a short period of our time, but for all of their time. I feel lucky that he's a cuddler. My previous dog would lay at the foot of the bed, but my current one just backs right up against me, pushing to get as close as possible. I love it!

I have a queen size bed, and my dog is medium-sized, but he likes to sleep in pretty much the middle of the bed, pushing me off to that little seam at the edge of the mattress. It's worth it!
