Sharing your bed with your dog!

I kind of agree with you even though I sometimes spoil my dog. The thing about it is that, once you share the bed, or sofa, or chair….your pet "claims" the object as its own.

Henry is a cuddler so he'll lie right up against me leaving me no room

So, I move to the other end

Exactly! That's how I see it, too. They love with all they've got. They're in our lives for such a short period of our time, but for all of their time. I feel lucky that he's a cuddler. My previous dog would lay at the foot of the bed, but my current one just backs right up against me, pushing to get as close as possible. I love it!

I have a queen size bed, and my dog is medium-sized, but he likes to sleep in pretty much the middle of the bed, pushing me off to that little seam at the edge of the mattress. It's worth it!

My dog has short hair. My previous dog was a Chow Chow, so I thought with this dog, he would get cold, or not like the snow, etc. But he loves the snow! We're in the middle of another Nor'easter at the moment. (Yesterday it was in the mid 40s and sunny!) It seemed my dog's coat length didn't matter. He cuddles for the sake of cuddling. He likes to burrow under the comforters, too.
