Deliberate introduction of non-native species

That is not quite true but even wild Cheetahs are rather non aggressive. They can kill humans but it is extremely rare. I was only able to find one account of an attack and even that wasn't fatal.

If anything they are far less dangerous than dogs by ratio of attack.

Exactly. I don't think there's ever been a recorded instance of a cheetah actually killing someone. Obviously, it's had to have happened at least a couple of times in the past, but they really aren't that aggressive of a species. Of course, that would probably change if they were introduced to America.

Omg yes, I want rhinos in Britain. That would be cool.

I am sure they have a lot of animals from similar climates AT THE ZOO where they can be personally cared for. I am not talking about animals in zoos. I am talking about animals released into the wilds on entirely different continents. The hippo's that Pablo Escobar released in Columbia for example are thriving. Granted they are more of an invasive and non-threated species but the principle remains.

I don't have to be at that zoo since the zoo is not at issue. I know what the climate of the British isles is and in what little wilderness area Britain has it is to cold in the winter.

The whole point of the post is transplanting wild species from one WILDERNESS to another WILDERNESS. Zoo's are limited in space and thus NOT the proper enviroment to ensure species proliferation and survival. Moron.

Why not? Just because they are a predator? I am sure they would do just as well on a diet of white tail & prong horn as they do on gazelle. Also cheetahs are safer to have around than coyotes. Hell, cheeetahs are even semi-domesticatable and can be trained as hunting cats. I'd love to hunt with a trained cheetah.
