The whole point of the post is transplanting wild species from one WILDERNESS to another WILDERNESS. Zoo's are limited in space and thus NOT the proper enviroment to ensure species proliferation and survival. Moron.

Why not? Just because they are a predator? I am sure they would do just as well on a diet of white tail & prong horn as they do on gazelle. Also cheetahs are safer to have around than coyotes. Hell, cheeetahs are even semi-domesticatable and can be trained as hunting cats. I'd love to hunt with a trained cheetah.

Also the pro hunting groups, such as the state Dept. of Nat. Resources, would not allow a predator to come in and compete with human hunters because the less deer there are, the less money they will make from the killings of those animals the humans do.
What you suggest in the OP is being naive without knowing all the biology behind it.
What are the odds of those animals surviving in the wild from being relocated?
Would they have all their needs met to live as they do where they are?
They are probably best where they are and instead it should be worked on to preserve them there.
