yes the Bruins had the best regular season in NHL history and choked a 3-1 series lead in 7 to a FLA team that snuck into the playoffs by 1 point
boston got ****ed on
florida has like 2 good players and a solid tendy but apparently that’s enough bc they’ve already won game 1 against the leafs

It shows you how unpredictable Hockey is the playoffs. A team can barely limp into the playoffs and end the season hoisting the cup.

Nope. I have no interest in that series. I watched Vegas and Dallas. This might be the least I’ve ever cared about the final 4 in the NHL playoffs. And saying that is kind of wild considering Florida could easily lose the next 4 games and nobody would be surprised or care who isn’t a Carolina or Florida fan.

I did. I also picked the NBA to help the Lakers to a game 1 victory against Golden State (and they'll be gifted the win in Game 1 in all of the following series' that lead up to the NBA making sure old Lebron on the lowest seeded team ever wins a championship. That's a great storyline that will generate revenue in these playoffs which will carry over into subsequent years.)
I was thinking at first that the NBA would interfere as much as possible to get a Lakers-Celtics finals, but I'm starting to wonder if a storyline of #7 Seed Lakers vs. #8 Seed Miami in the finals wouldn't be even more interesting. In any case, the one thing I'm sure of is that the NBA will do everything possible (without being too blatant) to make sure Lebron gets his title.

Well if they wanted to help lebron win they’re doing a lousy job. We are very likely getting a Denver nuggets vs Miami Heat final which couldn’t be a more random or less intriguing matchup ratings wise.
