Where were you when Messi scored his 600th goal for Barca

CR7 is two years older, that’s why. Messi has outscored CR7 and isn’t even a proper striker (false 9). Messi covers every blade of grass. He picks up possession in his own half, he controls everything Argentina and Barca do. He’s a freak of nature.
The best player of all time easily.

That's a free kick.
Messi spent his whole career at Barcelona because his 5"2 ass knew he could never hack the physicality of any other league, never mind the Prem. Ronaldo has conquered every league he ever went to, is the leading goal scorer of the Champions league ever, has won it with two different teams and will win it next year after Juve's rebuild with his third team. Ronaldo shows up for big games. No player who's never won a major tournament for his country deserves to be called the greatest. Ronaldo single handedly qualified Portugal for the Euros. And Portugal are **** compared to Argentina.
Ronaldo is THE man. Messi is his retarded little nephew. -

14 more cl goals than Messi, who is 2 years younger and still in the competition this year. The point about doing it with different teams is irrelevant. Messi is at the best club of modern history, loves them and has no reason to move.
Ronaldo shows up for big games.
And Messi doesn’t?
No player who's never won a major tournament for his country deserves to be called the greatest.
That’s a silly argument. When Portugal won the Euros they were absolutely horrendous, CR7 was woeful and he went off injured in the first half of the final. Messi took a mediocre Argentina team within a baw hair of winning the WC against Germany regardless.
Ronaldo single handedly qualified Portugal for the Euros. And Portugal are **** compared to Argentina.
Neither Portugal nor CR7 were any good in that tournament. They finished third in the group stages

Doesn't mean ****. What makes the Prem physical, is how demanding it is week after week. Sure he beat teams that play in the Prem but that's a very different cattle of fish than actually playing in the Prem.

14 goals across two years is not a small number.
And Messi doesn’t? [
Not for his country, no.

Incorrect. Portugal were certainly woeful however at a time when they were as bad as they were, Ronaldo single handedly saved them from not qualifying and carried them to the final. You can't say he was woeful because he got injured lmao.

And won. You can't say they didn't deserve to win because they came third. Though, I shall admit it was a horrendous year for football over all.
Now let's agree to disagree. In years to come we'll look back and marvel at having the two greatest footballers of all time playing within the same era. The day they both retire will be a **** day for football and we'll resent not enjoying them both while we had them. However, for me, I'll always be a Ronaldo man ever since I saw him play for man utd as an 8 year old. -

I don’t really enjoy arguing with people I actually like on here but let’s continue
.- *Kettle of fish, my friend. ‘Cold, rainy night at Stoke’. It’s a retarded argument. Messi has repeatedly destroyed every English side put in front of him. He has destroyed every team put in front of him. He is already playing in the best league in the world, as proven by Spanish teams successes in both European trophies over the last 10 years.

He already has 12 this season….
Not for his country, no.
International football is largely irrelevant for me now personally.

That tournament was a shambles. They finished below Hungary and Iceland in the group stage? Nah, I’m out.
And won. You can't say they didn't deserve to win because they came third. Though, I shall admit it was a horrendous year for football over all.
See above. I would focus more on three CL’s on the trot!

Fair play. To throw a spanner in the works though, CR7 isn’t even my number 2! This man is…but maybe that’s me being a Chelsea fan boy
