Do you use controllers on PC?

That's what I thought I just wasn't sure. I so rarely use a controller, preferring keyboard and mouse even from the comfort of my couch in spite of so many people apparently thinking such a thing is impossible haha, so I didn't know if my memory on that was accurate or not.

Console gamepads are massively superior to the awful and irrelevant keyboard plus mouse combo for PC gaming.
The Dual Shock controllers are massively superior to the horrendous Xbox consoles gamepads.
It's not even a contest.

I've never used a controller on a PC game until I started using the PS4 controller for games like Skyrim's Special Edition or when I'm driving in GTA as I hate using the keyboard for driving and since GTA V is one of those cool PC games that lets you switch between Controller and Keyboard just by pressing a button/key on either one unlike say.Fallout 4 where the second you plug in your controller you're forced to use that until you unplug it.

Yeah I either use my Xbox One or PS4 controller, mostly for games that don't need precise aiming. RPGs, sports, racing, platformers, walking simulators, puzzles are way more comfortable with a controller. Everything that includes shooting though, I play with M+K

And pretty every other genre of games I use X-Box controller.

I was looking at that (it's considerably cheaper) but i've had such bad experiences with 3rd party controllers in the past I did not want to risk it.

I've used a wireless 360 controller for controller-specific games (e.g. Dark Souls).
But I never shy away from using the keyboard and mouse for the games that tap into those device's superior gaming capacity. And I'm not fat or decrepit enough to find sitting in a desk chair uncomfortable.

I got my ds3 wiorking though the SCP toolkit and that xbox emulator, it's fairly decent, I couldn't imagine playing the witcher 3 with keyboard and mouse, the only problems I've faced is with QTE games like a telltales entry, I have to remind myself that X is [square.]

There's something called the Motioninjoy DS3 Tool for using your PS troller on PC, that worked for me for quite a while. I prefer not using it, however.
I have a Rockcandy wired 360 controller now, it works really well so far.
I never really understood why people have such hard feelings about their controller preference, they don't feel that much different to me, the PS vs Xbox - and I'm a pretty big Xbox troller n00b.
Then we'll see how he does up there, without all the assistance. -

placement of the left thumb stick maybe? on of my unofficial PS3 pads has the left elevated as well, but like the 360 it also has inverted triggers and the inverted thumb pads with little cross grips on. Too bad those controllers don't seem to be PC compatible, or maybe I need another USB port free to insert the receiver.
