Probably it's a little unnecessary for me to define, but 100% is when you collect every item. For example, Super Mario 6

I only platinum games I really like. I went out of my way to 100% Yakuza 4 and Fallout 3, enjoyed every minute of it.
Games like Tell Tale's the Walking Dead sorta kinda just give it to you it doesn't really count.

Always 100%, if you only beat the story then your only playing half the game. I've also 100% every GTA ever made without the use of any strategy guide or internet help. I found each and every collectible on my own for all of them.

I got 100% completion for Red Dead Redemption for the single player portion. Still proud of that one.
I also got all of the gaps in Tony Hawk's American Wasteland

Used to concern myself with that all the time when I was younger, but now only when doing so nets you a significant enough end reward, or if it's a I really care about, and want to say I've done it all in it.
