Hoover was Secretary of Commerce, but since that's appointed, I don't really consider it running for public office like the POTUS.

That's not exactly a ringing endorsement for presidents with no political experience. Ike was a great president but he's also the polar opposite of Trump in almost every way.

Do you really think I'm going to disagree with you on that? Of course we wouldn't be here. But let me explain something you seem to have trouble grasping. I get it, people are bitching, salty tears and all that, just like in 08. Funny. I get it. Except it's not really like 08. Among many other differences, people in 08 didn't choose, for the leader of the free world, a self-admitted sex offender. And again, I know it's super edgy an haha funny to equate being against sexual assault with being SJW. It's what we do on the interwebz these days, right? Any sign of compassion and basic decency is SJW and lulzy funny.
