Agreed 100%. I have watched a few "found footage" films and regretted every single damn one I sat through. Besides making me sick and nauseas, they're a cheap way to make a movie. Just use a shaky cam and move it around a lot (either while you're filming or in post) to do the "job" for you. Sorry, but what a cheap shortcut.

I saw some of it and I wish I could have seen it until the end because it was definitely a great idea. I just wish it hadn't been done like that. I have watched 10 Cloverfield Lane which I enjoyed.

The last one I attempted was Trollhunter which would have been enjoyable except for I had to abandon it due to motion sickness. Some video games have the same effect. I've not bothered since then but hopefully they don't make them any more.
I managed to watch Blair Witch but it was overhyped crap imo.

Noiro: The Curse is a good found footage horror precisely because it’s shot like a documentary/news reel and doesn’t have cameras wobbling all over the place
