Gotta love Kincaid. Wish the actor got more roles. He was funny. He's funny in interviews too. I think I last saw him in a tiny rolenin Always Sunny.
I believe JK Rowling stole a little from Will when creating Harry Potter.

I like the first. We wouldn't have been introduced to Freddie, had there not been a first.
The whole idea of a bogeyman killing you in your dreams was a new and different idea after Micheal Meyers and Jason tallying up kills in the movies.
Besides, watching Johnny Depp, in his first acting gig, being swallowed up in a bed is a real treat!
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

I love it, but still prefer 3. The makeup is the best in the first and then the 2nd with the witchy look. I love how in the first, his skin kinda looks drippy. His look became too cool then goofy later on. He looked like a proper old creep in the first.

His look was a bit different then.
The third movie was actually fun. The dreams were interesting… the one about the girl in the TV was wild!
Nancy was brought back too. To me, it was more in keeping with the first story.

I love all of them, even the most hated because I grew up on them. They provided a lot of catharsis for me, but I'm objective enough to see the only decent ones are 1, 3, and New Nightmare, and even they are flawed. I feel like the idea for the series isbway better than the execution.
I would love to see David Lynch remake it with the tone of the first and the surrealism and effects of 3 or 4.

The first one for sure…mostly for nostalgia reasons. Growing up we couldn't afford to go to see movies when they first opened. If there was something I really wanted to see, I'd have to wait until it was playing at the cheap second run theater in my little town. My mom was a huge horror fan so she took me to see it as soon as it got there. It didn't disappoint!

i don’t remember the title but i think it was the most recent one before they started doing the remakes and freddy vs jason etc
i just remember the woman trying to save her son and there’s one scene where the kid is playing in his bed under the bed sheet and he’s crawling under the sheet and it turns into a super long sheet tunnel that leads him to the boiler room or wherever
that scene really stuck with me -

I think the only likable one in the Friday films is Shelly because you kinda pity him. He's an actual character, and not a generic one.
I like Shelly and Crazy Ralph. Most of the other male characters were boring, predictable and forgettable.
