since Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan are both considered the legend of legends

I see that you're a fan of Batista, so it doesn't surprise me that you voted for Hogan. But here's something you might not know. Flair can wrestle and Hogan can't. Neither can Batista.
It wasn't rapeit was just surprise sex. -

Flair IS a wrestler whereas Hogan is a "walking gimmick" with very limited wrestling skills. He owes his enormous success to Stallone, who personally selected him for "Rocky III" and made him a celebrity. Without "Rocky III", Hogan would've been just another rguy in the locker room. Flair didn't have the physique that Hogan had or the opportunities that Hogan had thanks to Vince McMahon's vision back in 1982 to put the WWE as a national promotion with mainstream exposure and larger than life gimmickry. Jim Crockett's NWA didn't have the glitter and exposure that the WWE had. NWA was simply pure wrestling.

Hogan has more charisma and is a better getting people to look his way. Flair is better at making other wrestlers look good while still looking good himself. Hogan was never able to do that. Overall I give the edge to Slic Ric.

You gotta remember we are on the Ric Flair boards. 90% will naturally say Ric Flair. Try asking this question also on the Hogan board.
My personal opinion Hogan is a much bigger legend than Flair. On many levels. Flair is one of the top 10 of all time, but Hogan and Andre are one and two. Flair might and is probably number 3. -

Hogan was just about the money. He will come back to Wrestlemania if the
money is right. Flair is about the passion for the business. It is sad
to see him retire from something he really loves.

Hogan has a huge ego problem and really only cared about money most of the time. Ric Flair joined WWE in 2001 and he's stuck around ever since, truly dedicated to his love of the business. When he was in his prime Flair was a much better wrestler than Hogan was too. So Flair was much better than Hogan, in fact Flair may be the greatest wrestler of all-time.

Nah, that's just what smarks who are trying to sound smarter than they are say.
I's like the film nerds who say Citizen Kane sucks. All the experts say otherwise, but the smark always thinks he knows better.

I would have to agree with most of you and say Flair. Besides him in the ring. He seemed to care about the business alot more too. Hogan might of for awhile but he always wanted to come back for a big match and would come if the money was right. I think ric's the type that he dosn't care about the money, he just loves doing it and i think that puts him way above hogan.

that spectacle in the ring proves that flair is so above hogan in terms of class and dignity it isnt even funny. ric flair had the respect of the locker room. hulk hogan never did. i grew up a hogan fan. back in the 80's when there was no internet and you heard virtually nothing about what went on backstage. if you did im sure hulkamania wouldnt have run as wild as it did. now, being he was a top star im sure ric did his share of politicking backstage. all the big guys do. but hulk hogan, throughout his career has done everything to benefit one person and thats hulk hogan. he would never break down in front of a crowd like that because he has to be the immortal one, brother.
