There's massive protests, but 2 people killed is not slaughtering and the killings were not orders from any higher command, they were spontaneous reactions from incompetent individuals on the ground. There's a high probability that ICE agents will be targeted at some point, but there's a next to 0% chance it will lead to any escalation in violence. It would be condemned by nearly all major leaders on both sides and even among most protestors themselves, who do not want violence.
