Hey UDDY, sorry for late reply. Im not online a great deal for socialising, as i have other study priorities. But all the same, im not an unsociable person so feel free to drop me an email if you got anything to bring to my attention.
      My email is gordonbarrett@blueyonder.co.uk
Regarding the Krush tune. I've all but given up unless some live bootleg turns up and someone at Ninja tune to pull their finger out and gets a recording out. Someone in the Krush camp should really see the potential of the Scratch film as a vechile to bring new listeners to Krush'es doorstep.
On the scratch topic, some fun is had by the online video's by Cardiff's DJ Keltech. If you got some time to kill i reccomend putting that through your search engine and take in that guys efforts.
Right-o i best be doing something productive, until next time, take it easy UDDY..regardsGords.
To admin: I dont think im breaking message board ettiqutte here but If anything is out of line with this post, then feel free to wipe it. (Like you needed my permission!)

Even if we can't find the instrumentals, does anyone know if that is one of the Ranks boys doing the rhymed raggae?

i know little to nothing on the MC game but i had a quick look at the record sleeve for you and it credits the "words" to a Mr "Toastie Tailor" if that name means anything to you.
When they say words im pretty sure they mean the MC'ing on the tune and not who penned them to paper or such like.

Yeah that's definitely Toastie Taylor on there. I heard his voice and recognised it instantly on the film, but I was so confused because it wasn't a track I recognised. I realised it was Krush so I figured they must have worked together, I never even realised he was remixing 186000 miles.

I agree. Krush's moment of fame in the movie stands out as the most interesting in the whole dvd. Surely someone has a recording of him doing that piece with the flutes? Are there any tapers in Tokyo? Neednow

I also would badly like to know if he has recorded that, it sounded great.

Let us update this post. I came here to ask you guessed it:
"It's not credited, but it got me into him BIG TIME. And yet, my heart still aches for this track (or what album is it on?)"
Still no answer? I have a couple bootleg live albums but they dont have the tune.

I totally agree, that track is one of the greatest live scratch remixes I have ever heard. When I watch the Scratch documentary, I always jump to the scene with DJ Krush 😄

Oh man, tack on another looking for that tune. Also Puhzam, I responded to your post on Amazon.com about this trac too. God it sucks that I can not find it. I have even been to some dude's fan site, that only says uncredited by the Scratch name of the song.
I must admit, I would have never got into Krush, itf it were not for this track.

Looks like the full version of that tune might be lost forever if it was only created live. Perhaps for someone on this board it's their mission in life to recreate the song kind of like painters studying the masters by trying to recreate their paintings (anyone who has seen the movie Amile will know what I'm on about). Perhaps it's my mission?? Can anyone ever be as great as that?
That Japanese flute is just lush!

as a seasoned turntablist myself, I have to agree that the Krush section was the most memorable part of the doc, despite it not being the normal scratch routine. - Amazing!!!

Man, I'm here to join the club! Only found this documentary a few months ago, rewatched it just recently and absolutely love this segment. It's not beep up Pendulum for sure, I'm getting all New Flesh for Old albums to see if I ever get anything close to it. Krush is magnificient, anyone that can recommend anything along those lines of what he played on Scratch (preferabbly from Krush himself) I'll make sure I give it a go. Peace.
