Let us update this post. I came here to ask you guessed it:
"It's not credited, but it got me into him BIG TIME. And yet, my heart still aches for this track (or what album is it on?)"
Still no answer? I have a couple bootleg live albums but they dont have the tune.

I totally agree, that track is one of the greatest live scratch remixes I have ever heard. When I watch the Scratch documentary, I always jump to the scene with DJ Krush 😄

Oh man, tack on another looking for that tune. Also Puhzam, I responded to your post on Amazon.com about this trac too. God it sucks that I can not find it. I have even been to some dude's fan site, that only says uncredited by the Scratch name of the song.
I must admit, I would have never got into Krush, itf it were not for this track.

Looks like the full version of that tune might be lost forever if it was only created live. Perhaps for someone on this board it's their mission in life to recreate the song kind of like painters studying the masters by trying to recreate their paintings (anyone who has seen the movie Amile will know what I'm on about). Perhaps it's my mission?? Can anyone ever be as great as that?
That Japanese flute is just lush!

as a seasoned turntablist myself, I have to agree that the Krush section was the most memorable part of the doc, despite it not being the normal scratch routine. - Amazing!!!

Man, I'm here to join the club! Only found this documentary a few months ago, rewatched it just recently and absolutely love this segment. It's not beep up Pendulum for sure, I'm getting all New Flesh for Old albums to see if I ever get anything close to it. Krush is magnificient, anyone that can recommend anything along those lines of what he played on Scratch (preferabbly from Krush himself) I'll make sure I give it a go. Peace.

I am so pleased to see all the commotion, investigation and intrigue surrounding that DJ Krush track. I own the movie "Scratch" and sometimes I watch it just for that performance. I think it is "Toastie Taylor" but I don't know the name of the song. The vocals aren't laid over a particular track. I've been to 2 Krush shows (I met him at the first one) and only at the second was he mixing like he did in the movie. I must say, when I heard it, I couldn't believe it. Just goes to prove that KRUSH is probably one of the greatest hip-hop djs/artists that ever lived.
I'll keep scouting for the song and post again if I find something.
P.S. As if you all didn't know, KRUSH is touring again (Oct. 2007) - you never know, you might just hear the very same track.

Dude, I'm telling you. It's "186,000 Miles" by New Flesh For Old.
                                          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djVcShHuR8w
DJ KRUSH was playing a cut from that song in "Scratch". Specifically, the verse by Toastie Taylor.
He mixes live at his shows anyhow - he doesn't just play his albums. Both shows I've seen were live and direct.
