You are a reprehensible person.

the empathy thing is yet another one of his quotes taken out of context
these people are endlessly corrupt and dishonest
Kirk said the following in his remarks, with the quote social media users shared appearing in bold:
So the new communications strategy for Democrats, now that their polling advantage is collapsing in every single state… collapsing in Ohio. It's collapsing even in Arizona. It is now a race where Blake Masters is in striking distance. Kari Lake is doing very, very well. The new communications strategy is not to do what Bill Clinton used to do, where he would say, "I feel your pain." Instead, it is to say, "You're actually not in pain." So let's just, little, very short clip. Bill Clinton in the 1990s. It was all about empathy and sympathy. I can't stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made-up, new age term that — it does a lot of damage. But, it is very effective when it comes to politics. Sympathy, I prefer more than empathy. That's a separate topic for a different time.
On the same day, Kirk shared (archived) additional thoughts on Twitter about people allegedly lecturing him about the word "empathy," writing:
The same people who lecture you about 'empathy' have none for the soldiers discharged for the jab, the children mutilated by Big Medicine, or the lives devastated by fentanyl pouring over the border.
Spare me your fake outrage, your fake science, and your fake moral superiority.
he's referring to people who weaponize the concept of empathy in toxic ways and yet are incapable of empathy themselves
he didn't finish explaining himself because it was off-topic, but I think it's clear what he meant. anyone saying he's actually anti-empathy is being dishonest. he's obviously calling out the use of "empathy" in a political context.
here's another important quote of his
"I prefer the word compassion. I prefer the word sympathy. Empathy you try to feel the pain as it's your own. Compassion is understanding." - Charlie Kirk

I definitely see it as ironic since the same people who go after him about not liking the word empathy are not empathetic people themselves. Someone who has natural empathy wouldnt have said he deserved his death or cheered his death. so maybe i get it if thats what he was getting at. So many people like to call for empathy when they clearly dont even represent the meaning of what empathy is.

Empathy you try to feel the pain as it's your own.
this is not what empathy is, you ****ing moron. empathy is not a construct or a concept you can corrupt or manipulate, it's a natural, elementary feeling.
Kirk twisted the definition to fit his narrative of empathetic people being somewhat of a problem.
i told you to stop trolling, boomshit. your shtick is cringe. -

I'm not sure a meth addict whose brain has holes in it from snorting mystery powders her whole life can be trusted to give an accurate description of what empathy is
but I don't see how your description conflicts with his. maybe it comes more naturally to some than others who have to make an effort to exercise it but it's same thing either way.

it's also very sociopathic to say that someone isn't capable of empathy
it's dehumanizing to say that about someone. anyone who says that clearly doesn't have "naturally occurring empathy"

"make-believe concept" refers to something that is imagined, pretended, or not real, often used to imply a false or unrealistic belief. it involves an activity of either playing a game of pretend or holding onto an imaginary idea or world that isn't grounded in reality.
