It certainly comes in handy for the Kevin Bacon Game - But Removed.
That's where you take two actors who have appeared in film and try and knit them together within 7 movies using only other actors they have worked with
For example taking someone young these days and someone old from early cinema. Let's go for
    Sydney Sweeney
    and get her to
    Laurence Olivier
    Margo
Sydney was in Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood (2019) with Leonardo DiCaprio
Leonardo DiCaprio was in Inception (2010) with Michael Caine
Michael Caine was in Sleuth (1972) with Laurence Olivier
There we go, just 3 steps and didn't even have to use this film's cast
It's a fun game which I'll propose to
    The Knitting Club
and see if people can bring two actors together within 7 movies or less

Ahhhhh, you are talking about the degree game…
Three degrees of Laurence Olivier is what you did there.
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

I only happened upon it as The Kevin Bacon game and updated it to be more footloose on the starting and ending points Margo
        I've
started one in The Knitting Club forum
if you fancy giving it a go
Or you can try to come up with your own two actors and see who can whittle them down by association the best

          I'll think about it.
When I get the chance, I will take some time and gaze at my wall of DVDs 📀, and attempt to string two actors together.
At the moment I am watching Bridget Jones Diary… can you come up with Hugh Grant and Renee Zellweger without them ending up in the second Bridget Jones Diary? 😁

            Too easy Margo!
Renee Zellweger was in Jerry Maguire (1996) with Tom Cruise
Tom Cruise was in Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018) with Henry Cavill
Henry Cavil was in The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (2015) with Hugh Grant
I'm sure someone can get it tighter too if they try

It's a fun game to play when travelling Margo
But showing off would be something along the lines of:
Renne was in Judy (2019) with Michael Gambon
Who was in Paddington 2 (2017) with Hugh Grant
Then you have films like The Player (1992), It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963), the various Muppet and Cannonball Run films to really open up the connections
The Lion in Winter has a ridiculously brilliant cast of all ages which casts a huge net over lots of associations too

I really do believe that this was a perfect cast to choose from…
I'd love to play, but we have a lot going on in this coming week. We have family and friends visiting for the Independence Day celebrations we have here.
I get the fact that there are people who are so hung up on politics, but we are all for patriotism here. There are those of us who still love our country and we still strive for freedom.
We will still celebrate by being together and making our favorite foods and enjoying fellowship. That is what being an American really is all about.
For that matter, that is what being a human being should be about!

Chinon in France averages only about a half inch of snow each winter. However, as mentioned, it would have added to the claustrophobic atmosphere to have had a bit of snow on the ground.
It's a pity that this fine old classic movie isn't available on Tubi or Freevee, and isn't accessible to Comcast customers with only basic service.

There are other means to get a hold of a copy Ronno but it is a classic and should be available more easily

I sort of like the barren feel of no snow.

I got tired of waiting for it to show up on the streaming channels. I got the DVD by purchasing it on Amazon…

. Hope it stays on for a long time. Thanks, Tubi.
