I don’t think I’ll bother with snap shots unless I see something particularly unusual that I haven’t seen before. I went into a couple of charity shops today. Charity shops are so much better in places like York, they have better things to buy. One of them had a load of old Beano issues! I thought of buying one but they had no prices on…I might go back and buy one anyway as they can’t be that much can they.
I also went into that antique shop and they had a whole bunch of comics like old 2000AD’s and some Rom the Space Knight issues. These were quite dear though at £10 and £5 respectively.

Maybe grab a few and see if you can get a deal on a haul like that.

I did not see John Like Pickard (English version), no. I did visit the other House of Madness though. They had some rather interesting art in the toilets AND some of the beers came in two thirds instead of pints.

You could get a full pint if you wanted, but it was expensive. Anyway I bought some beers from their shop to take home with me. There was a guy in there from Essex who was also buying beer and he gave me a few recommendations.

Yes I picked up three old issues of The Beano, they were only 99p each. I also found some Doctor Who Target novels in Oxfam for £1.99 a piece. I collect these if I see them in the wild.
