I just dont really see it on shelves that much, i am sure its there I just never really look that much, I never seem to crave it while food shopping lol.
Plus its the UK so we probably just have the bog standard jerky while you guys got the whole honey glazed wood smoked jalapeano flavour **** going on lol

They're everywhere here. I feel like they're a bit more expensive than they should be so I often go with the meat sticks, which have a similar flavor, but a bit of a different texture and they're cheaper.
I saw a Brit mom and son try one and they hated it though lol. -

I make some pretty good turkey. Not that it takes much skill, but so many people **** it up and dry it out. I use a cajun butter injection, and cook it in an oven bag. Comes out tender and juicy. -

Dehydrators can be fairly cheap. Get one and then ask a butcher for eye of round, sliced into very thin strips. Then follow the same recipe I've already described or try out different marinades. Venison is way better though, if you can get your hands on it.

Guessing your rejection sensitivity is up right now. Feeling excluded again maybe. You'll be okay for a little while, but it'll nag at you. Did something trigger it?
Hope you can one day see your worth and not care about any of that altogether, but it's okay to have some weak moments.
