There's just something about this act, I can't quite put my finger one it, but something which reeks of all the bad things that we don't like about politicians
It's maybe how they are public servants but seem to live like kings and queens. It's maybe that their lavish lifestyles shouldn't be funded as expenses to the taxpayer but rather as frugally as the lowest earners in their constituency, encouraging them to increase the quality of life for all. Perhaps it's how laws don't seem to impact them the same way that it does others. During covid, for example, getting a haircut was illegal but not for certain politicians who enjoy ridiculously expensive ice-cream while their spouse is bummed by Antifa vegans
But there's something else about this act, I just can't square it up but it seems like it's a delicious irony
Maybe I'll just throw the lot into the most brilliant AI available, powered by NVidia of course, and see what pops up?

For a politician, there are safer, more secretive forms of graft than insider trading. It's not the main income source for most of them. Supporting the act is a good PR move that voters will like (plus, it's certain to be used against them in the next election if they don't.)

Let's be straight here. This is taking the tax off tips and making it look like it's reputable now
There will still be gifts which go to the right people, it's just they'll be tips in the form of cash with being taxed.
No, there's something else about this bill which gives me pause for concern

Hawley introduced that Bill back in like early 2023. He came up with that hilarious name.

Gaetz introducing the PENCIL Resolution was really funny too.

I hope those alive in the future knows that we were still doing what we could. Even if it's just a footnote joke
