That's why he missed the end of in my OP:
                    Special Placing: Humans
This mammal poses also a great danger - to itself.
Though numbers are declining around 500,000 people die violently from their own species each year.
As alread said, with those victim numbers humans actually deserve danger class #2.
But we are so special and good. โ˜บ

Top 7 of the nastiest Insect Stings and Bites
Have you ever heard of the
                      Schmidt Sting Pain Index
                      ?
The man who created it deliberately got stung by the world's most painful insects โ€“ which, frankly, sounds pretty bizarre. The problem is that pain is a very subjective experience. The fact that Schmidt describes the sting of a white-headed hornet as comparable to having your hand caught in a revolving door says a lot about his pain tolerance.
We present 7 of the animals whose stings and bites are among the most painful.

                      1. 24-Hour Ant or Bullet Ant
                        ๐Ÿœโ€‹
With a rating of 4+ on the pain scale (which only goes up to 4), the
                        24-hour ant
lives up to its name. Schmidt describes the sting as
"like walking barefoot over hot coals with an 8 cm long nail in your heel"
. The Saterรฉ-Mawรฉ people use these ants for an extreme initiation ritual: Young men put their hands into gloves filled with the angry insects and must endure the agony while dancing. The pain lasts for hours, but the adrenaline rush afterward is said to last a whole week. Their sting is hardly fatal โ€” it would take an estimated 2,250 stings to kill an adult. But that's unlikely to be much comfort while you're sweating and trembling with pain.
                      2. Warrior Wasp
                        ๐Ÿโ€‹
The warrior wasp sting scores a 4 on the pain scale โ€“ according to Schmidt, pure torture. He describes the sting as
"like being trapped in an active vulcano"
                        and asked himself in despair,
"Why did I even start this list?"
This wasp looks like an armored insect and is definitely not an encounter you want to risk in the jungle. The pain can last up to two hours.
                      3. Banana Spider
                        ๐Ÿ•ท๏ธโ€‹
While wasp and ant stings are excruciatingly painful but rarely fatal, spider bites are a different story. The Brazilian wandering spider โ€“ also known as the banana spider โ€“ belongs to the genus Phoneutria, which aptly means
                        "murderess"
. The Guinness Book of Records repeatedly named it the most venomous spider in the world, but fortunately, antivenom is now available. A bite not only causes intense burning, abdominal cramps and nausea, but can also lead to a prolonged, painful erection in men.
                      4. Gila Monster
                        ๐ŸฆŽโ€‹
A single bite is unpleasant enough, but what if an animal latches on and slowly pumps more and more venom into the wound? Sounds agonizing, doesn't it? That's exactly what the Gila Monster does, though its bite is rarely fatal. Despite their dangerous reputation, these lizards are actually quite peaceful. Most bites occur on the hands, suggesting that humans provoked them.
                      5. Platypus
                        ๐Ÿฆ†โ€‹๐Ÿฆโ€‹
If you think of the platypus as a cute, fluffy duck-like creature, you're not alone. What's even more surprising is the fact that male platypuses are among the few mammals with venom โ€“ and their toxin even affects humans. While it's
                        'only'
fatal to dogs and cats, the pain in humans can last for weeks โ€“ anything but cute!
                      6. Box Jellyfish
                        ๐Ÿ™โ€‹
The sting of the box jellyfish is among the most painful and dangerous of all. Its venom can not only cause extreme burning pain but also severely impair the cardiovascular system. Victims report a burning, stinging pain that feels as if their skin is on fire. The tentacles often leave whip-like, reddened welts that can develop into severe nettle rashes or blisters within minutes. Particularly insidious: The venom of the box jellyfish contains neurotoxins that can trigger severe muscle spasms, respiratory problems and in the worst case, cardiac arrest. Even if the venom isn't fatal, the pain can last for hours or even days and, in some cases, can cause nerve damage lasting for months.
                      7. Executioner Wasp
                        ๐Ÿ
Returning to insects, we now come to the eerily named
                        "Executioner Wasp"
. Schmidt didn't try this sting himself, but YouTuber Coyote Peterson took on the challenge and used Schmidt's pain index as a basis for his own experiments. After being stung by a bullet ant, he faced off against the Executioner Wasp โ€” and declared it his last sting. ๐Ÿคฃ He claims the pain was worse than anything he ever experienced and that it lasted 36 hours. The venom also destroyed a piece of tissue around the wound, leaving a scar.
