tl;dr:
Stop calling them "Latinos" in error, call them Mexicans or Aztecs or Mayans. Latino = made up word which means of European heritage (as in your ancestor females were slaves and got ****ed by Conquistadors men from White Spain!)
To call a Mexican "Latino" is racist! It only acknowledges his past slavery from Europe. Please honor their RED (Mexican, Aztec, Mayan) roots!! Please refer to these people as Aztecs or Mayans, what they are descendants from, in highest blood percentages!
Latino refers to the Latin based languages of White European countries: mainly French (France), Spain (Spanish) and Italy (Italian). All indigenous natives from these countries are WHITE. So when you call a Mexican "Latino" you are insulting him/her by denying his Mexican blood/heritage and calling him European.
Latino refers to the minimal amount of descendants from Mexico (and other S. American countries, as in south of USA border) who have Spaniard blood/DNA. Most of these are now extinct. An immigrant to Mexico from London is not a "Latino" or a "Mexican" !
Since the White race is receding, you do not call Halle Berry (who is mostly White, as in has more than 50 percent White blood in her) as "White". She is Black.
The same you shouldn't call George Lopez "Latino" because that would mean he is White or Italian or French or Spaniard, instead of the Red race he obviously is. Honor what he really is, and his proud Red race lineage by calling him "Aztec" or "Mayan".
If you're the child of immigrants to Europe and a POC, you're NOT European and you're NOT White, even if a piece of paper says your nationality is French, Spaniard or Italian, you're still a Congolese, Cameroonian or Arab by DNA/blood and have ZERO claim or ties or "race" from Europe. You are an immigrant, aka a tolerated (by some!) invader, period!

Does George Lopez call himself Latino? It should probably be up to them what they call themselves. I don't see it as racist to acknowledge they are a mix of Mesoamericans and Europeans. That's who they are. Discounting that because you don't want to acknowledge they have white in them would be racist.

I agree. White people traveled all over the world mixing with the natives, so they shouldn't complain now if their "pure" blood isn't so pure anymore.

Aztec culture is extremely rich! WHY ignore that. How would you like it if Spaniards start appropriating the Aztec pyramids and call them "Castillian pyramids" and "Spain's calendars"? Maybe we ought to start doing that, since you people (yanks) can't understand squat.

So when you say "hot Latina", you're saying a "Hot Italian", in essence. The Vatican, only place in world where Latin is spoken, is basically Italian!

I'm talking about mixed heritage. White Mexicans are White cuz they have a mix of European blood due to Mexico being invaded by Spaniards, French and even Germans. Why should they deny their European heritage?

I agree it's incorrect. Mexico is in North American, not Latin America. The general term would be North Americanos or Mexicans. There are some people in Mexico who are from Latin America though. It's all mixed. But there aren't just Black or White people. There are also Brown people if you're going only by color. George Lopez is Brown. But there are Mexicans who are White.

Florida, Calif. and Texas are already in the South, FCOL!!!!
Mexico is in Central America. End of story.
To call it North is an insult to Innuit & Eskimos!
