I loved it all, makes me want to get a copy of the book and make all the recipes myself! 🙂

The bruschetta looked awesome (I could be wrong, but I think this was one of the few non-Julia Childs dishes in the movie)!!! The other thing that had my mouth watering was the chocolate cake with the slivered pecans.

OMG the chocolate cake with almonds on the side looked amazing! I'm inspired to buy Julia's book so I can make that cake! It looked simple and elegant. 🙂

the raspberry Bavarian cream looks amazing. I bought the book for my mom for mothers day and we plan on making the cream this weekend. However the boeuf bourignon is the one we are all dying to make

The night that I first saw the movie, I immediately wanted to have the bruschetta. I had that for breakfast the following morning! It was delicious 🙂

I think at least 75% of the people who watched the movie probably made or bought bruschetta within a few days of watching that scene! lol!
I know I promptly went to the store, bought a variety of heirlooms, and made hubby and son very, very happy.

Hm all of it? That stew looked amazing. I'm starving after watching this. I'm gonna make that Chocolate Cream Pie. Ahh, dlicieux 🙂

DEFINITELY the duck. I have made Beef Wellington on a number of occasions (beef in pastry) but I would LOVE to try this.
If the chocolate almond cake was Nora Ephron's own recipe, is it not in the Julie Chilc cookbook? Also, just in case anyone wants to know, there IS an entire section in "The Joy Of Cooking" on cooking game. And by "game" I mean rabbit, squirrel, rattlesnake, etc
                                LLR
PS: I am in love with cooking shows and am an amateur foodie, maybe that's why I like this movie so much

the chocolate almond cake is not Nora's recipe; apparently the chocolate pie is.
The chocolate cake is the Queen of Sheba cake, and you can watch her make it on Youtube.

I'd say the Beef Bourignon and Raspberry Bavarian Cream.

What was the name of the chicken dish she dropped on the floor I think she was stuffing it with chicken livers and cream?

It was poulet rti la normande.
The stuffing was chicken livers and cream cheese.
