I don't get the "daddy" stuff, though. No offense. I don't understand how it's any different from "dad." In other words, why would "dad" equate to psychological issues, but not "daddy"? Maybe someone can explain it to me. I haven't heard "Zaddy."
They say "daddy" in some songs, like in The Doobie Bros' song Black Water, there's the line, "Dance with your daddy all night long." Although that's right after he calls her "pretty mama." So maybe they're a mom and dad referring to each other as mama and daddy. -
