This will get the NRA and all other gun nuts to be sure to get much easier access to guns so that next time he can get his hands on one and use that instead.

I thought someone might say, "If the employees had guns, they wouldn't have been stabbed."
If the guy had a gun, maybe he would've shot the employees and some of the museum's visitors too, and they might not have survived. -

Did they find and catch him?
I hope they did before he might have done any damage with that knife to any of the paintings.
Which is also the risk of shooting a gun in that place.

Last I heard, they're still looking for him.
This article says the guy stabbed them because they wouldn't let him watch a film!
NYPD investigators say they know who the suspect is: a 60-year-old man and former member of the museum. He's accused of trying to gain access to the museum to see a film but was denied because his membership had been revoked a day earlier for repeat disturbances, officials said at a police press conference.
After the man wasn't allowed past the museum entrance, police said he jumped over the reception desk and stabbed two female employees multiple times. The incident unfolded around 4:15 p.m.
Emergency personnel transported the two victims to Bellevue Hospital where they were being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police and fire officials said.
The man was seen on video leaving the building and police know which direction he was fleeing. He's also described by police as a museum regular, someone who staff was familiar with. They also said he was wearing a black jacket and a blue surgical mask.

They arrested him!
His arrest comes as authorities say he intentionally set a hotel room on fire Monday evening. First responders were called to a Best Western on reports of a fire burning in a room on the fifth floor. Cellphone video appears to show police and firefighters responding to that incident, which they now believe was the result of arson. -

Man accused of stabbing 2 people at New York's Museum of Modern Art arrested in Philadelphia, police say
The man accused of stabbing two employees inside New York's Museum of Modern Art on Saturday was arrested in Philadelphia, police said Tuesday morning.
Information on charges against Gary Cabana, 60, will be announced pending his extradition to New York, a New York Police Department spokesperson said.
Cabana was arrested at a Greyhound station early Tuesday after police found him sleeping on a bench inside a station in Chinatown, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
It's unclear whether Cabana has an attorney.
The injured employees were both 24 years old, police said. One, a woman, suffered two stab wounds to the lower back and one stab wound to the back of her neck. The other, a man, was stabbed once in the left collar bone, officials said.
Both were rushed to Bellevue Hospital and are expected to survive, police said at a news conference Saturday evening.
