Well he's not really a major part, there are some moments but for the most part he seems to just stay in the background of things.

It's not about Batman, he's basically the character we go along with and the one the audience has the most connection.. also it's a business decision.

Using Batman makes business sense he is the most bankable character DC has, the problem is with them using him in so many projects the market will just end up flooded with the character and it distracts from allowing the other characters to shine.

Right. Thematically, the film needs a non-magicked person to lend perspective. Like Scully's skepticism did for Mulder and the paranormal X-file events. Having only magicked characters, and adding in WW or Fate as well, might have been an overdose.
Even better, they used not just a non-magicked hero, but a non-powered one as well. More relatable. Coulda been Cyborg, I guess. But Batman's intentional flirtation with "darkness" works better here.

Could be worse, could be forcing Superman into every movie. "I'm the strongest and the fastest and if you kill me, I'll come back to life!" Lameeeeeee

So what? Some people are not interested in characters they have never heard of. Only if the characters they have heard of and love works with characters they have never heard of, they will want to see more of that character.

                Apparently Batman = DC.
It was long ago and it was far away,
And it was so much better than it is today.

                  Well, DC is short for
                  Detective Comics
                  (making them Detective Comics Comics)!

Iron Man is from Marvel. If you're referring to the MCU, they have plenty of movies w/o Tony Stark: Thor 1&2, Cap 1&2, Guardians, Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, and so on. Not to mention Sony's five Spider-Man films and Fox's X-Men franchise.
More importantly, in the ones where he's present, he was actually critical to the plot w/ the exception of a very quick cameo at the end of The Incredible Hulk. Meanwhile, the cover of this movie has Batman front and center while the writing basically treats him as a sidekick to the magic users. Even Bat-fans would be disappointed by this flick.

Yeah this is starting to get ridiculous. I like Batman but it seems no-one else can get a movie nowadays unless he appears in it.
                        Bloody irritating.

I agree that batman is a huge selling point in these movies, but it wasn't like the movie was bad with him in it. He was only a minor supporting character with significantly fewer lines than the rest of the cast, and I thought the few moments he did speak (boo, random grunts after witnessing crazy magic) were pretty hilarious. It was like he was just a passenger in this crazy magic roller coaster.
Plus, he had a somewhat semi-sentimental stake in it. He did witness that lady try to kill her baby and then herself because of the magic brainwashing, so him tagging along isn't entirely ridiculous.

No, I think they decided that they will sell more Blu Rays if they put Batman in it. Check the cover and you'll see he's front and center, that was no accident.

Forcing is a bit of an exaggeration.
They needed the tie to the JL. Based on that alone, it was either Superman or Batman. And Superman and magic don't mix.
Also, Batman was in the original comic series this was based on.
Someone else said it should have been Doctor Fate A few problems with that.
One, Fate's helmet can be seen on one of Constantine's shelves when he's enchanting the needle to seek out Faust.
Two, Fate, while wearing the helmet of Nabu, is a GOD. There would have been zero drama in the story with him along as he could have simply destroyed Destiny by himself with no need of anyone else's aid.
This signature really brings the room together, Does It Not?

Giving this movie the title of Justice League is ridiculous.
There's more Justice League in the Lego Batman movie.
And Batman felt like a spectator here.
On the other hand I wouldn't have watched it if there wasn't Batman in it. I can't stand the magic and Gods part of DC.
Although it was better than any of the Batman movies that featured Damian ^^

He was in almost every scene, standing around.
                                      It felt like
"One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?"

Zee in the regular League? It seems so; she's been a JL member in past incarnations of the team. Constantine? I'm betting 'no'.

And good for Constantine and good for the League. They're better off without each other.
