There Is a chance The movie can still be profitable,I know people are not happy with some of the casting,but people watch for Spider-Man,that alone means the movie could make money

This won't sink the MCU by any means but it will forever relegate Spider-Man to a kid's level character. You'll see far less adults wearing his t-shirt and buying his merchandise. All you'll see are kid's backpacks and toddler items. Spider-Man is now doomed to the boy equivalent of Disney Princesses.

Spider-Man Homecoming is shaping up to be a real downer dud geared for high school age kids or younger. That's the exact buzz I've been getting reading the fan pages on Facebook.
The casting has been horrendously bad.
