I should go work in one for a few months just to see what it's like.
Itβs a sad situation. Uncared for patients. No baths, brushed teeth or wiped butts. Parents forgotten by their children. Heartbreaking. I worked there early days. Usually only one CNA per 20 patients. State run facilities are the worst. A lot of sexual assaults. Go check it out.
