I should go work in one for a few months just to see what it's like.
Itโs a sad situation. Uncared for patients. No baths, brushed teeth or wiped butts. Parents forgotten by their children. Heartbreaking. I worked there early days. Usually only one CNA per 20 patients. State run facilities are the worst. A lot of sexual assaults. Go check it out. -

You can work in the kitchen and still see some shit.
One place I worked at had sour milk and I told the head of care. She did absolutely nothing and kitchen staff were still preparing food with it everyday ๐คฎ It's disgusting because residents pay anything from 900+ a week rent. Don't even get me started on the meals lol
The horrors I could tell you about those places. One I worked at I overheard the home manager talking to a unit manager about how they were basically waiting for the resident's heart to stop so they can get her out and a new resident in! Vile people.
