I figure Diamondback moved sorta slowly and Daredevil could just aim for that exposed chin. It's like the glowing "weak part" in a video-game boss fight!

Ehhh I'd say probably not. He struggled against Kingpin and he isn't exactly fast himself.
Diamondback is basically a much stronger and even more durable Kingpin really.

He is still too much of a rookie in the game.
Stryker would wipe his shoes on Matt at the end of season 1. EOS2 Matt would bother and possibly injure Stryker but still get wrecked.
Give him another season of tangling with Hand ninja and we could probably have a balanced fight.

If Daredevil were in a situation where he feels his life threatened enough, he might be able to jam the billy into his brain his eye. Or maybe there's a weakness in his suit his senses can pick up.
