You have to be god damn beep kidding me. MARY-JANE WATSON IS A beep REDHEAD. PERIOD.
Mary-Jane Watson's iconic look has ALWAYS been that she's a natural redhead, and I am so sick and tired of all these stupid guilty white people constantly trying to turn these comic book characters into completely different races for the sake of being ethnically diverse. I am so sick and tired of all these stupid people trying to turn Spider-Man into a racially ambiguous superhero, and I am so sick and tired of all these stupid guilty white people calling comic book fans racists.
When Avatar The Last Airbender came out everyone was FURIOUS at how they completely changed the races of the characters from their asian counterparts. This is what I don't understand and this is what you stupid hypocrites need to understand. Many of those Avatar characters had the iconic look of being asians, so to change them into these european/caucasians was just beep up.

Turning Flash from a physically daunting highschool bully into a small ethnic kid is one thing but to completely change a character that has for so long had the physical iconic look of a redheaded bombshell for the sake of being politically correct just pisses me off to no end.
All of you SJW's are already ruining my favorite superhero movie and before you people say stuff like "BUT THEY AREN'T EVEN REAL!" well they became
REAL
to us. For people who grew up reading these characters when we had no-one else to turn to we ended up looking up to these characters as role models. You can call it silly, but in reality what you're really doing is you're being a narrow-minded ignorant fool who fails to see that even though you don't see it this way, a lot of fans have a real love and passion for these characters.
I was honestly fine with everything up until I found out Zendaya is playing Mary-Jane Watson. That's honestly just where I draw the line. I could've been fine with them using Mary-Jane Watson in another movie, and if this is all just a rumor and nothing is actually confirmed then please tell me because as of right now I just don't know if I even want to see the movie anymore.
You can call me pathetic, I really don't give a beep but don't you dare call me a racist because I know for a damn fact that you people are just nothing more than a bunch of racist hypocrites who refuses to accept the fact that some characters have an iconic look to them. Mary-Jane Watson is one of them. So is Gwen Stacy, and that isn't a beep racist statement. It's just the way it is.
I seriously cannot believe how hypocritical and stupid people can be. -

None of us have any control over Spider-Man: Homecoming. We're just ordinary people who come here to comment on movies. The new Spider-Man movie isn't only made for hardcore fans like yourself. It's
overwhelmingly
made for general audiences, which is becoming increasingly diverse by the day. Currently, minorities make up almost 40% of the U.S. population and purchase almost half the domestic theater tickets.
Point is, get used to seeing more and more traditionally white roles going to minority actors. White people are expected to become a minority in America by 2050. That's just life, like it or not.

Actually, when whites become a minority in America, I predict there might be LESS racechanging, not more. At least for major roles. -

No worries, victorvalerio. You have a valid point. It does NOT make you a racist to state your preference or opinion of how you like comic book characters to be played. Zendaya is a lovely upcoming actress, but it does seem like an attempt by Hollywood to create more diversity so that more people are included and no one is offended or left out. Truth is, Mary Jane has always been a red head with bright green eyes, and it's okay to expect that in any upcoming Spider-Man project.
Bottom Line: People need to be more respectful of one another by not creating more drama with allegations that everyone is a "racist" simply for having a different view. -

I'll call you a racist, but not on purpose. You area racist because your mind is too simple to allow for change and artistic vision. You are so narrowed by you brains inability to accept change that you lash our at others because of this fear. This is a common response in animals and we also see it in humans that have not learned to control their emotions with logic, truth and fact. Again, I do not blame you. Many cultures don't give you facts to survive, so all the mediated malarky has you confused and thus in fear. I assume you will lash at me in the same way proving my theory.

Wish we could trade ticket prices somehow, also have to use about $7.50 in gas and about $10 on parking, so i try to pick the right movies to spend money on.
And the prices are when its not 3D that cost extra and its not IMAX we dont have that.
