If Speedy & Wild Dog didn't get to veto their names, why should Kid Flash?
I do find it funny though, since Kid Flash is maybe what, 2 years younger than THE Flash.

Here's a friendly reminder that this isn't the first time a 20-something version of Wally West has gone by the name Kid Flash, reluctantly or otherwise. Case in point, Young Justice Season 2.
We all have our problems, some just hide it better.
