I was thinking the same, introduce him (in his coma dream) during the second act, we maybe cut to him in this state 3 times, and then physically resurrect him during the third act. Granted I dont know if they want to go that route or if would work well in film.

I actually really like the idea. Maybe even have Batman holding on Supermans body, keeping it preserved in some High tech Coma that's able to replicate the suns energy trying to heal superman.
Cyborg and Batman can work together to try to piece together Superman's mind again. -

I would just go the codex route, have jor-el, lara, Zod, maybe even bring him back to krypton (if they want to go all the way), but mainly jor-el speaking to Clark in this state, piecing his soul back together, and the codex finally brings him back.

That storyline is brilliant but has been overused recently, in Supergirl, CW crossover etc.
How the name, "Martha" brought out the real Batman

Would it be a possibility? Yes.
Do I think that -especially after BvS- we need extended dream sequences only vaguely related to the actual main plot woven into a movie that already has to tackle the introduction of three major characters, the redemption arc of another major character the formation of a team, an unknown villain and his army, 1-2 unknown cultures, important uber-tech-boxes, a battle for Earth, the resurrection and reintroduction of yet another major character etc? No. No, I do not. -

I'd have it directly related to the plot. It's about Superman realizing what kind of hero he wants to be when he returns. After all, he's actually the focal point of this trilogy.
And the other stuff in the movie will have plenty of time to develop. I can assure you that Steppenwolf will not be some deep and compelling villain. Will he be menacing? Sure. But he doesn't need a lot of development. So all you REALLY have is Batman putting a team together to honor Superman. And I doubt we're going to get fully fleshed out origins for Cyborg, Flash, and Aquaman. Their origin stories may be hinted at or described, but I don't think it'll be all that elaborate.
We need to remember that the MAIN characters in JL will be Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. The other three are supporting characters. They're there so we can get introduced to them and interested in their solo movies, but they're not the focus. Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Fury weren't the focus of The Avengers. That was Stark, Cap, Thor, and Hulk. But they were there to support the core of the team.
In a 2.5 hour movie, this stuff can all fit. And I don't think the FTMWHE subplot would take up that much time. Maybe 10 minutes, tops.

Cool, thanks.
EDIT: I found it at :45
But that's not Cavill, and while it could be a stuntman, I don't think it's meant to be Superman, either, his "goatee" resembles Zod's.
Definitely looks like a black suited Kryptonian "taking off", though. -
