But that's not Cavill, and while it could be a stuntman, I don't think it's meant to be Superman, either, his "goatee" resembles Zod's.
Definitely looks like a black suited Kryptonian "taking off", though.

This was one of my favorite cartoons growing up. With everything else they have been releasing lately, hopefully this is not far behind.
