Or would it be too early?

it's possible, even though Amy mentioned that she heard that there is some writing going on for the next solo Superman movie. If it happens, i hope that they don't do the Injustice storyline, they already have enough people bitching that they got Superman "wrong", so if he becomes evil or becomes like a Justice Lord.. that will put people over the edge and they might give up on DC altogether.
IMDB taught me: cynicism is praised. optimism must be stamped out wherever it can be found. -

Thank you for the info about 'MoS' sequel.
But they're doing the "Injustice" storyline, aren't they? That's how the future of this universe is presumably going to look like, we've seen this during the "extended nightmare sequence" in 'BvS'.
Nevertheless, I agree with you, it would be suicidal on the part of WB/DC to go that route. The public desire is that this cinematic universe should become more and more upbeat, not the contrary.
There's also a question of the alternate universe(s), and how that issue is going to play out in the future movies. -

Yes, I think it's possible we'll see a bit more detail of a
possible
Injustice-like timeline, but I'm sure the 'real' heroes will - as you say - be more upbeat.

Agree, my main argument is that, at this point, it would look repetitive, cause Superman has just "died" in the previous movie.
But if that is ever going to happen is this DCEU, I'd like to see the Joker playing a key role in killing Lois. -

Exactly. If MoS 2 is before JL 2, they need to explore Clark and Lois relationship some more to give more of a reason to why he would turn evil after Lois dies at some point. If it's after JL 2, then I don't mind her dying in that film. Joker definitely should play a role in that

I don't think it's possible to have 'Man of Steel 2' before 2019. Their schedule is full and, from what we know, they don't have a script or a director for that movie. Amy Adams' age doesn't help either. We also know that there won't be Clark Kent in that sequel, cause he's officialy dead in this universe.
I don't think delving into "Injustice" would be a good decision here, there's no room for that. What're they going to do in the 'Cyborg' movie (2020) or 'Green Lantern Corps'? Showing another prequel, origin story, while there's this apocalyptic scenario playing out on Earth in the present time?
Have no idea how they're going to develop this universe, but surely it'll be interesting to watch.
I should add that the 'extended nightmare sequence' from 'BvS' clearly shows that the 'Injustice' storyline in some form is a part of the history of the DC cinematic universe, however how they're going to execute it? Again, no idea. -

The Constantine and the greek gods parts should be almost completly excluded from a cinematic version of Injustice. They felt too much like fillers. But they should include a scene where we would see Superman persecute and kill magic users, since they can bring him down. With the exception of Constantine. They could show Batman trying to recruit him and being told to beep off by Constantine, that "to the hell with the world, I only care for my daughter" would make an amazing scene.

Probably too early. Leave it for the Superman movie or JL2.
